3. Bookings and payments

Bookings are only confirmed once we have accepted the booking and, where required, payment has been received.

Payments may be taken online through our payment provider or by another agreed method.

All prices are shown in pounds sterling. If VAT or any additional fees apply, this will be made clear before payment.

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel a booking where a service is not suitable, where there is a safeguarding or safety concern, or where payment has not been received.

4. Cancellations and refunds

If you book a service online, by email or by telephone, you may have a legal right to cancel within 14 days of booking.

If you ask us to provide the service within this 14-day period, you agree that we can begin providing the service before the cancellation period has ended. If the service has already been provided, you will not usually be entitled to a refund for that service.

For appointments and sessions, we ask for at least 48 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or rearrange.

If you cancel with less than 48 hours’ notice, or do not attend, we may charge the full session fee.

We understand that illness and emergencies happen, and we may use our discretion in individual circumstances.

If we need to cancel or rearrange a session, we will offer an alternative appointment or provide a refund for any service that has been paid for but not provided.

5. Suitability and safety

Our services are designed to support development, participation, confidence, movement, regulation and functional skills.

Before providing some services, we may need to gather information about the child or young person’s needs, medical history, developmental history, risks and current support.

Parents, carers, schools and organisations are responsible for providing accurate and up-to-date information.

We may decide that a service is not appropriate or that additional information, consent or professional advice is needed before proceeding.

6. Medical advice and emergencies

Our services do not replace medical advice, diagnosis or treatment from a doctor or other medical professional.

If you have concerns about a child or young person’s health, pain, injury, seizures, unexplained symptoms, mental health, medication or medical safety, you should seek advice from an appropriate medical professional.

In an emergency, call 999.

7. Reports, advice and recommendations

Any reports, recommendations or written advice we provide are based on the information available to us at the time.

Reports and recommendations are intended for the purpose agreed at the time of booking. They should not be altered or used out of context.

We cannot guarantee that any third party, school, local authority, tribunal, organisation or professional will accept or act on our recommendations.

8. Outcomes

We aim to provide high-quality, supportive and professional services.

However, outcomes vary depending on the individual child or young person, their needs, attendance, wider support, health, environment and other factors.

We do not guarantee specific results or outcomes.

9. Parent, carer and client responsibilities

Parents, carers and clients agree to:

  • Provide accurate information
  • Tell us about relevant medical, developmental, behavioural, sensory or safeguarding concerns
  • Attend sessions on time
  • Follow safety guidance during sessions
  • Supervise children where required
  • Treat staff, other families and users of the service respectfully

We reserve the right to end a session or refuse future bookings if behaviour presents a risk to safety or wellbeing.
